At the end of a race well controlled by UAE, the victory came down to a sprint at the summit of Monte Berico. Clément Izquierdo held his own well and finished 8th in the Giro del Veneto. Dylan Teuns was also in the right group, at the end of a day in which the team rode together from start to finish.

“The team was really committed throughout the race. The final stages were controlled by UAE, and we found ourselves in the final sprint with Dylan Teuns and Clément Izquierdo. Clément put in a very good sprint; the last 500 metres were on a slight uphill gradient, and we secured a creditable 8th place. It’s really worth emphasising that the team gave their all throughout the race, as the season draws to a close.”
