The Cofidis women’s team for 2027 is continuing to take shape. Following the arrivals of Célia Le Mouël, Clémence Latimier and Zoé Le Bihan, it is now Anouska Koster’s turn to join the team. At 33, the Dutch rider brings valuable experience as a team-mate, but can also seize her opportunities as a breakaway specialist.
She took up cycling almost naturally, following in the footsteps of her mother, who also rode. A fierce competitor by nature, Anouska Koster then joined a club, began racing and worked her way up through the ranks to the highest level. “I have always seen every step of my progression as a challenge, an opportunity to push myself,” she explains.
Eight victories to her name
At 33, she is a familiar face on the professional circuit. Dutch national champion in 2016, she has eight victories to her name, including wins in France on the roads of the Tour de l’Ardèche (2019) and at the Kreiz Breizh Elites (2024). Anouska describes herself as “a punchy rider” who “likes helping her team-mates” on all types of terrain, whether in one-day races or on courses featuring climbs. Her experience will be invaluable in supporting Cofidis’ leaders next season. Anouska will also have the opportunity to go for her own chances, potentially in long-range breakaways. The Dutch rider has signed a one-year contract for 2027. She joins a team that has no shortage of talent to shine next season.
THEY SAID
Anouska Koster:
“Joining Cofidis is a new adventure that I’m really excited about. I really appreciated the conversations I had with the team. It’s a new challenge for me and one that I’m very excited about. I want to learn a new way of approaching racing, as well as a new culture. I will put my experience at the service of my team-mates: with the years, you perhaps learn a little more about where to attack in each race, when to save yourself, and how to deliver the lead-out… That is also something I want to pass on to the team. I would like to sincerely thank Uno-X Mobility for the four seasons we spent together and Cofidis for putting their trust in me ahead of next season.”
Raphaël Jeune, Manager general :
"Anouska Koster will be a great asset to our team next year. She is a rider with a wealth of experience at the highest level, and she is also a great person who is always in a good mood. She has a natural ability to bring different personalities together around her. Her exemplary attitude is recognised throughout the peloton. She will bring a great deal to our women’s team. While her primary role will be to help the team perform to the best of its ability, she will also contribute to ensuring that the atmosphere within the squad remains excellent. We are very happy to take on this new challenge with her!”
