“The day was marked by a breakaway controlled by the race leader’s team and the sprinters’ teams. There was a real battle on the climb of the final circuit, with several moves from the GC contenders. On the final lap, Del Toro was still out front alone, but the sprinters’ teams managed to bring him back in the final kilometre. Benjamin produced a good sprint to take 8th place. Dylan moved up one place in the general classification and finished 12th. We’re happy with this final stage, even though we’re still disappointed that Benjamin lost ground in the general classification yesterday. But that’s part of racing.”
