The Cofidis para-cycling team had a stellar showing at the European Championships in Maniago, Italy. They won 7 medals, including 3 gold medals.
The Cofidis team made a strong showing at the European Para-cycling Championships, held in Maniago, Italy, from June 12 to 14, 2026. On Thursday, during the time trial events, all of our riders made it to the podium. Louis Hubert (C3) and Arthur Bauchet (C2) claimed the titles, while Eliott Pierre (C5) took silver and Katell Alençon won bronze (C4).
Louis Hubert doubled his tally
On Sunday, during the road races, Louis Hubert doubled his tally. “He managed to win the sprint against the world champion. It was a masterfully executed finish against a tough opponent with whom Louis had been in a breakaway since the 2nd lap (out of 9)
,” notes Valérie Alexandre, our sports director. “For Katell Alençon and Arthur Bauchet, the sprint didn’t go as well, and they finished in 2nd place.
” For Eliott Pierre, the race was more complicated. “He quickly got caught out and was unable to join the breakaway that went all the way to the finish

With a total of 7 podium finishes out of a possible 8, the Cofidis team achieved its best performance in this championship since its inception. “And that’s without Gatien Le Rousseau, who is still recovering,
