A 24.7-km time trial awaited the Cofidis team riders during the second stage of the Bretagne Ladies Tour on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Ema Comte took third place and claimed the white jersey.
A successful day for the Cofidis team riders. On the second stage of the Bretagne Ladies Tour, a 24.7km time trial around Plomodiern, they performed well. Four of them finished in the day’s Top 15: Nikola Noskova (14th), Amalie Dideriksen (12th), Marion Borras (4th), and Ema Comte (3rd). The latter, who has been racking up excellent results this May, capitalized on her third-place finish to claim the white jersey for best young rider on the eve of the race’s final stage.
The reaction
Mélanie Briot, sport director : "The time trial was shortened slightly since two kilometers were removed—they were a bit dangerous. We finished 3rd and 4th in this time trial.
It’s a great achievement for Ema in a time trial; she really worked hard on it. She’s in top form, and tonight she’s wearing the best young rider’s jersey. So it really is a fantastic performance; we’re very happy with what she’s achieved.
Marion is preparing for the French Championships. We came to the Bretagne Ladies Tour for this time trial partly as a warm-up for the French Championships. It was also good to see how much ground we still have to cover. Tomorrow, we’re going to have to go all out if we want to try to win the overall title. It won’t necessarily be easy, even though the leading team today has only five riders at the start. So we’re going to go all out. We’ll see how the other teams perform. There are several teams within about thirty seconds of us."
