Second and final day of the Festival Elsy Jacobs in Luxembourg. 121.6 kilometres on a circuit through the streets of Cessange, in rainy conditions. A longer and more selective race than yesterday.
After several breakaway attempts, a group of 8 riders manages to get away 60 kilometres from the finish. The team takes charge of the chase but the breakaway holds on until the end. In the bunch sprint, Valentine Fortin stands out and finishes 10th, while the victory was decided up the road.

« It was a day that looked like a sprint finish. At least that's how we prepared it for Valentine Fortin today. We let a group of 8 riders go without us and we were not able to close the gap. It's clearly a disappointment. We came here for better than that. We finish with 9th place within reach and Valentine takes 10th. It's all the more disappointing because Valentine was in good shape. »
