After two flat stages, the race disputed its first summit finish at Kıran. 132.7 km on the menu and a final climb of 9 km at almost 10%, the first real test of this Tour of Turkey 2026.
A large peloton arrived at the foot of the final climb. The team perfectly positioned Emanuel Buchmann at the bottom of the final ascent. Sergio Samitier tried his luck on the climb, caught with 6 km to go. Riders were shed one by one all the way to the finish. Emanuel Buchmann finishes 23rd.

"It was a mountain stage, with a final climb of 9 km at almost 10%. A three-man breakaway went early and was controlled by the peloton, which arrived together at the foot of the climb. We weren't at the level we hoped for today. We'll need to respond."
