For the first time, Paris-Roubaix Femmes and Paris-Roubaix were held on the same day. 144 kilometres from Denain, 20 cobbled sectors and 33.7 km of cobblestones, including three brand new sectors this year. Despite the bad luck, our riders gave everything until the very end.

A great surprise from Nadia Quagliotto, called up as a last-minute replacement on Tuesday: with no course reconnaissance and on her very first Paris-Roubaix, she claims 27th place.

Sports director Mélanie Briot's reaction

« We gave everything despite the bad luck! Amalie Dideriksen suffered a mechanical issue in a cobbled sector — despite having great legs, she never managed to get back to the front group. Valentine Fortin punctured at the worst moment, too far away to be helped in time. Marion Borras felt really good on the cobbles. And then there's Nadia Quagliotto, called up at the last minute on Tuesday, with no course recon, she arrives with a mix of excitement and nerves for her very first Paris-Roubaix... and sprints to 24th place. What a surprise! »
