Amalie Dideriksen secured her third Top 10 finish of the season at the Omloop Van Het Hageland, finishing 6th on Sunday.

It came down to a sprint finish on Sunday, March 1, 2026, on the roads of the Omloop Van Het Hageland. Well represented in the final sprint, the Cofidis team placed three riders in the Top 20 of the race with Amalie Dideriksen (6th), Victoire Berteau (18th), and Valentin Fortin (20th).

The reaction

Mélanie Briot, sports director: "The first 50 kilometers were fairly easy with five riders at the front. Then we arrived at the circuit, which included a cobbled hill. The peloton was shaken up each time and broke apart at the top of the hill. Three girls joined the breakaway. Big names. There was a counterattack that we didn't go along with. The team worked hard to join this counterattack, which was well done by Marion Borras, Martina Alzini, and Kristyna Burlova. Then Lidl-Trek lent a hand to bring back the breakaway. The gap wasn't easy to close. It was done in the very last kilometers. Amalie Dideriksen came in 6th at the finish. We still had Victoire Berteau, Valentine Fortin, and Amalie Dideriksen for the sprint. We're a little disappointed with this 6th place finish, but we saw some great teamwork. We really raced as a team. We put our energy where it was needed. I hope the next races will be more successful for us."
