Equally comfortable on the track and on the road, Camille Charret has collected numerous titles in the youth categories. His main achievement? Winning the French Junior Championship ahead of none other than Paul Seixas in 2024. Both a rouleur and a puncheur, he grew up in Brioude, on the same roads as Romain Bardet. By committing to Cofidis for the next two seasons, Camille aims to discover the highest level of competition and to bring the team some truly unforgettable moments.

It’s a turning point in the recent history of Team Cofidis. The northern-based squad is proud to welcome one of the most promising talents in French cycling. He also claimed a silver medal in the junior world championships in the pursuit.

“I still have plenty of room for improvement.”

On the road as well, Camille has already made a habit of raising his arms in victory. The specialists first took notice of him during the 2024 French Junior Championships in Altkirch, Alsace, where he triumphed in both the mixed relayand the road race. The young rider took the win ahead of two of his friends and fellow rising stars of French cycling Rémi Daumas and Paul Seixas. “I’m a rider with a puncheur–rouleur profile,” Camille explains. “I like to keep all possibilities open, both on the road and on the track. And I know I still have plenty of room for improvement.” To support his development, Camille will be able to rely on the full ecosystem and professionalism of Team Cofidis. Under his new colors, he will discover racing at the highest international level and will do everything he can to continue his irresistible rise.
