Villeneuve-d'Ascq, September 29, 2025 – The Cofidis team is opening a new chapter in its history with the arrival of former professional rider Raphaël Jeune, who is taking over as team manager.
Raphaël Jeune appointed General Manager of the Cofidis cycling team
Former professional rider in the early 2000s with Team CSC, Raphaël Jeune took part in major classics such as Milan–San Remo, Paris–Roubaix, and the Tour of Flanders, as well as stage races like Paris–Nice.
After ending his racing career, he put his experience to use in sports management and marketing. As an event manager and later Sports Marketing Manager at Look Cycle International, he built strong expertise in sponsorship strategy, partnership management with athletes and teams, and the promotion of international events.

The arrival of Raphaël Jeune marks a new stage for Team Cofidis, which had been managed by Cédric Vasseur for the past eight years.
Joining in 2017, Cédric made his mark on the team’s history by leading its ambitions to the highest level of world cycling. Under his leadership, Cofidis returned to the WorldTour in 2020 and distinguished itself in the biggest races on the international calendar notably with two stage wins at the 2023 Tour de France as well as major victories in the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España.

Cofidis Group’s involvement also reflects its commitment to diversity. In 2009, the Cofidis team created the first para-cycling division within a professional cycling team, allowing athletes with disabilities to compete at the highest level under optimal conditions. This initiative also helps raise awareness among the sports community, media, and the general public about para-sports.
In 2021, Cofidis launched its women’s cycling team. Today, 17 young women form a close-knit squad proudly carrying the brand’s colors on the world stage.
