The "Doyenne des classiques" was held this Sunday with 142,5 km for the women's team, 257 km to ride and 10 difficulties to cross for the UCI World Tour team. While Sandra Levenez came close to the top 20 (25th) in the women's race, the men's team did not lose out despite a crash that forced Jesús Herrada to abandon and that slowed down Guillaume Martin's progress (33rd). Ion Izagirre finished 27th. Before heading to the Tour de Romandie and the Giro, find the most important images of the race and the reactions of our riders.

Reactions:

Ion Izagirre: "I felt better than at La Flèche Wallonne. It's a long, intense race where the management of the effort is delicate. After the crash, I tried to follow the pace of the strongest riders before finishing in a third group."

Guillaume Martin: "It was a bit of a strange day. The race changed quite a bit when I crashed. I fell head first and my neck hurt a bit. I had to do a chase to get back. The feeling was pretty good up to that point, a bit of breathing difficulty with, I think, the pollen. In the end it was a difficult day."

Thierry Marichal, sport director: "We are obviously a bit disappointed because I think we had a strong team at the start of the race, unfortunately we didn't manage to get a result. Until the Roche aux Faucons we were good, and when it really started, we didn't have the legs to follow the best. We didn't get the result we wanted this morning and it's a bit of a shame."
