Another busy weekend for the team. While part of the team will race Paris-Roubaix this Sunday, another part, led by Victor Lafay and Jesus Herrada, will take part in the Classic Grand Besançon Doubs and the Tour du Jura.
HERRADA - LAFAY, READY TO SHINE!
Two races, passes to climb and chances to win. This weekend, the Cofidis team will try to take its 9th victory of the season. It will have the opportunity to do so on the roads of the Doubs for the Classic Grand Besançon Doubs this Friday. 177,5 km will be ridden between Besançon and Montfaucon with three climbs on the programme. The next day, the Tour du Jura will take place with 169,8 km between Champagnole and Nozeroy with also three difficulties. The field will be structured around two leaders: Victor Lafay, 3rd of a prestigious stage in Tirreno-Adriatico, and Jesus Herrada. They will be able to count on the support of Rémy Rochas, back from injury, and Axel Zingle, current leader of the Coupe de France.

PARIS-ROUBAIX, TAKING UP THE CHALLENGE
The Hell of the North, the cobbles, its mythology and its difficulties. Like every year, the Cofidis team will take up this particularly demanding challenge of 252.2 km, including 54.8 km of cobbles. Of course, the team will have to do without Max Walscheid, who finished 12th in Paris-Roubaix last year. Particularly sharp this season, winner of the GP de Denain, he had to give up after a collision with a car during a training session at the end of March. "It's going to be hard not to be able to ride Paris-Roubaix", he said.
The team will rely on experienced and talented riders for this race with the presence of Belgians Piet Allegaert and Kenneth Vanbilsen, Frenchman Alexis Renard and Italian Davide Cimolai. They will be accompanied by some young riders who will come to train there: the Polish Szymon Sajnok, Eddy Finé and Alexandre Delettre who will participate for the second time.
The squad: P. Allegaert, D. Cimolai, A. Delettre, E. Finé, A. Renard, S. Sajnok, K. Vanbilsen
